Velvet's proud stature, perfect conformation and extraordinary fiber - her density, fineness and crimp - are usually only found on White or Fawn alpacas. She has the desired short wooly face and full head to toe coverage. Her silver pedigree comes from the noblest lines. Velvet is the perfect alpaca. Velvet has a wonderful, friendly personality. She loves attention and gives kisses freely.

She gave birth March 8, 2000 to her first cria - a perfect True Black male - named Black Velvet. She is an excellent mother.

In 2001 Velvet delivered a beautiful True Black female named AAR Virginia.
